It all comes back to our members

Police Credit is proud to be part of the Credit Union and Building Society group campaign to increase community awareness of credit unions and building societies through a nationwide campaign. Abacus, as the industry association for credit unions and building societies, has facilitated the campaign on behalf of the industry.

82 credit unions and building societies, including Police Credit, are participating in the campaign representing approximately three quarters (75%) of the industry. The theme of ‘circles’ illustrates how the benefits of credit unions ‘come back to you’ as members and aims to increase awareness and market share of credit unions.

Key Messages of the Campaign:

  • 4.5 million Australians bank with a credit union or building society
  • Credit union and mutual building society profits go into better products for members
  • Credit unions and building societies offer consistently better rates than major banks
Look out for TV advertising, which commenced on May 16th 2010. The TV ads are running nationally in all regions across Australia. Online advertising is also featured on selected websites to 20 July 2010.

You will also notice this logo appearing on many of Police Credit’s communication materials such as statement messages, brochures, website, posters and other branch displays.
