Our PeopleExecutive Management Team The Executive Management Team is responsible for the management of Police Credit’s day to day activities and assists the Board in carrying out decisions as a collective decision-making body. The team meets weekly to discuss recent developments in the marketplace and foster strong relationships across Police Credit. | Peter Kempster B. Com (Hons) – University of Melbourne, MBA (Distinction) - London Business School FCPA, ACA, MAICD, MAMI Chief Executive Officer Peter joined Police Credit as CEO in July 2007 after 14 years with National Australia Bank. At NAB, he was a member of its Australian leadership team and held a variety of senior roles. He is now a strong supporter of credit unions and ‘members helping members’. Peter supports Collingwood, has three teenage children and a dog, and enjoys wine, theatre and trekking in remote parts of the world. |
| Fred Pieterse BEc, GradDipAcc, GradDipBusMktg, CPA Executive Manager – Finance Fred has been with Police Credit since 1996 and acts as the company's Chief Financial Officer. Prior to this he held senior positions in prudential supervision of non-bank financial institutions in Victoria for 15 years, Fred has a degree in economics and graduate diplomas in accounting and marketing. He is also a CPA member of the Australian Society of Certified Practising Accountants. |
| Graham Ashworth LLB(Hons), MBA, GradDipCSA Company Secretary and General Counsel Graham acts as both Company Secretary and General Counsel and has been with Police Credit since 2004. Prior to that he held a general counsel role with the Australian Securities and Investments Commission and a number of senior management roles including with ASIC’s banking and insurance section. Graham is a lawyer, having practised as a barrister at the Victorian Bar as well as with the Victorian Government Solicitor’s Office. Graham also spent 16 years with Victoria Police. He holds an honours law degree from Monash University, a masters degree in business administration from the Mt Eliza Business School and a graduate diploma in company secretarial practice. He has professional memberships with the Victorian Law Institute and the Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators. |
| Graham Miller Cert. Bus. (Acc.) Grad. Dip. (A.I.S.) MACS PCP; MISACA Executive Manager - Technology and Telecommunications Graham Miller has over 26 years in the information technology industry with the last 20 years being in the banking and finance sector which included State Bank Victoria and Commonwealth Bank of Australia. He has qualifications in accounting and commercial information systems and is a member of the Information Systems Audit and Control Association and an Associate Member of the Australia Computer Society. |
| Melanie Dilges MBA, MMarkMgt Executive Manager - Marketing and Sales Melanie has worked in marketing and management for more than 15 years, with a wealth of experience in a variety of sectors including not for profit, sports marketing and financial services. She joined Police Credit in 2002 and has held other management roles within the organisation. Melanie has recently completed a Master of Marketing & Master of Business at Melbourne Business School and holds a Bachelor of Applied Science (Human Movement). She is also a member of the Australian Marketing Institute (AMI). |
